I like how little time is wasted before the action starts, with the right amount of history and descriptions. Then it's a wild ride where the characters are constantly challenged. I am impressed by the depth of the characters that you don't normally see in this kind of novel. They even have a sense of humor, especially Velvast. Overall, this is a fun book and I look forward to the second one.Product details

I like how the author has created the fantasy world of Torrud and describes it through the adventures of the Vuskans. The action started from the beginning and never let up. I love the naming conventions for the different monsters, races and places. Cant wait to read book 2.
